Mr Bhosale was appointed as an Orthopaedic Consultant at Barnsley Hospital in February 2015.
​
Prior to joining Barnsley Hospital, Mr Bhosale completed a Masters and National Diploma in India, undertook dedicated full time Clinical Research in Cartilage Transplantation at Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital, Oswestry and completed his MD in cartilage transplantation, affiliated to Keele University, UK.

He was appointed as Specialist Registrar for Higher Surgical Training in the Sheffield Teaching Hospitals in South Yorkshire rotation programme in 2007 and undertook a one-year dedicated fellowship in Foot and Ankle Surgery by working in University Hospital of South Manchester, which is a Level 1 Trauma centre.

Mr Bhosale has also gained valuable experience in complex lower limb trauma surgery during a 3 year surgical rotation at the Northern General Hospital, Sheffield.
​
Mr Bhosale has several presentations in national and international conferences and publications in peer reviewed journals to his credit.
​
In addition to his orthopaedic work, Mr Bhosale is also the departmental Undergraduate lead as a part of general module covering Cardiology, Rheumatology and Radiology. He is also overseeing the departmental teaching programme for the junior doctors.
